A South Florida man is refusing to back down after fish and wildlife officials informed him the alligator hes had as a pet for nearly five decades has grown too big to roam in his yard.
Whenever David Van Buren is away from his Coconut Grove home, his scaly friend and companion Gwendolyn hides in the yard, occasionally peeking out of his pool.

That guy’s lucky! I’ve been bugging Two Kids’ Mom to let me get a gator for our back yard and keep getting the same answer. I’d be okay with a little one. I’m good at compromising.

Effective at keeping out unwanted intruders I’m guessing.
Unless you started a gators versus pitbulls fight club and charged admission and built in a generous vig on the gambling. You could make a fortune!
I know we’re not supposed to talk about dangerous animals fight club ... but let’s say you had a swimming pool and filled it with a medium-sized alligator, a grizzly bear, a ginormous anaconda, a bull shark and a half-dozen pit bulls.
Who’s climbing out? (Except the shark of course.)
