SAN ANTONIO A U.S. Office of Special Counsel report released Monday found that Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro
violated the Hatch Act, which restricts the political activity of some federal employees, during an April interview with Yahoo News.
Castro's statements during the interview, according to a OSC news release, mixed his "personal political views with officials agency business
despite his efforts to clarify that some answers were being given in his personal capacity."
The department found he violated the act by "advocating for and against presidential candidates while giving a media interview in his official capacity on April 4, 2016," the report states.

I wonder if he'll get to use the Hillary defense, as there wasn't any INTENT.
That’s 2 high level pols thrown under the bus. I guess they are trying to convince us we are still a nation of laws.
Laws don’t apply to Democrats, just to Republicans. That’s what FBI director Comey told us.
I agree, that is their intent.
I keep hearing Tim Kaine is the one.
Just like Obozo gave Candidate Hildabeast a ride in his private chariot to campaign events.
It didn’t take long for this little token to follow the last Clinton token, Henry Cisneros into disgrace-someone in Hillary’s camp must actually know that most of us do not like being pandered to-vete a la chin***, Julian...
This shows concern on HRC's part, because she would like nothing better than to have a non-white-male (or a non-white-non-male), but she's scared she'll lose PA.
Yawn. Nothing will happen to Castro, just like the ones in Cuba too.
So what. Laws don’t apply to extra special Democrats.
Did you mean Director ComeDy, (D)fbi
Ditch one midget Hispanic with a Commie Mommie.
With the lawlessness, criminality and possibly outright treason (it's hard to get evidence because of all the Obama Cover ups) enforcing sanctions for a simple Hatch Act violation is like giving a speeding ticket at the Indy 500.
James Comey’s entire year has been a violation of the Hatch Act.
Definitely on my list for the Worthless Piece of Skin Award
> despite his efforts to clarify that some answers were being given in his personal capacity
So in other words he didn’t intend to.
“someone in Hillarys camp must actually know that most of us do not like being pandered to-vete a la chin***, Julian...”
It is either that, or the Clintons considered them a threat and disposed of them. Funny that both Cisneros and Castro were hustled off to HUD where their political ambitions were nuked.
La Beech set heem oop!
