So far, the angels are on their side. The line of severe thunderstorms that went through pre-dawn has cleared out, and it’s drying out. Best guess is it’ll hamper the planning of those with not-good intentions.
I just watched it - that Lemon is such an arrogant, condescending jerk. Did not like what the good Sheriff had to say, so cut him off and argued with him the whole time.
I suspect it will be the last time Sheriff Clarke goes on CNN!

That was really great I am looking forward to seeing the Sheriff's speech at the convention.
What i really think is that African-Americans have been royally screwed, used and abused by POTUS, Obama, Clinton the entire Democrat Party and, their lapgog media. Their enemy, IMHO....is “Obama” who has successfuly chained them and kept them in forever poverty....while he throws them a bone or two, ev every once and awhile.
Poverty, the crime, the poor education, the broken familes, the lack of fathers in the household, the drugs, the murders, etc.,...all stem from th slave ghetto environment most of these folks are forced to live their lives in. It is truly a crying shame....that these poor folks cannot see the forest for the trees. Nothing will change until these African-Americans recognize their plight foisted upon them by Democrats, CBC, NAACP, the media, and especially, Barack Hussein Obama & Hillary Clinton!!! Sad!!! On aa positive, I also predict that DJT & Mike Pence will garner more Black votes then anyone now imagines....20-30%!!! Many Blacks are getting it....little by little!!!

Sheriff Clarke needs to be appointed by President Trump to a newly-created high level position of “Domestic Race Ambassador” (that is functional title, the exact needs work).
When trouble breaks out involving issues of race relations, the Ambassador could be dispatched to tell it like it is and be central to issue and solutions. Someone as talented as Sheriff Clarke could make more progress than the Justice Dept, and could offer more of a concrete solution than platitudes like “have a conversation” or “reach out” to the other side.
Besides, as the official representative of the Trump administration, he could help crowd out the air time of the Hucksters like Jessee and Al and the Black Panthers.
