I watched part of it last night, from about 7:30-8:00 to 10:00-10:30 CDT.
I agree, what makes it different is that Trump has had regular people on, giving speeches from the heart, and those folks each cover a point of Trump’s platform.
IIRC, other conventions had mostly politicians, with maybe one or two non politicians talking.

Didn’t watch, but if I remember correctly MOOCH’s was about herself and how blacks have been held in slavery by the man...what she left out was the man is Dems, mainly corrupt black LIBTARD DEMS.

If so, they are also undiscerning. It’s a person of poor character who is overpaid in the first place for one of the bestsellers of several decades, and then spews bile about the subject who allowed him great access. I would not trust such a person anywhere near my private life after such a betrayal. He is now finished with the good people of New York/DC.
The man is entitled to his opinion. And he is entitled to write a fair-minded analysis of political issues and how personality may or may not fit into that. But what he wrote was a low-class, backstabbing, whining, fishwife screed. I hope his family locks up all their knives.

Pence is giving an unscheduled speech that has shades of a unity theme in it. He may be talking to sanctimonious Ted, trying to save him from himself.
