A former Marine dressed in black and carrying extra ammunition shot and killed three Baton Rouge law enforcement officers Sunday, less than two weeks after a black man was fatally shot by police here in a confrontation that sparked nightly protests that reverberated nationwide. Three other officers were wounded, one critically. Police said the gunman was killed at the scene.

When some idiot writes a journalist piece and says the guy had “extra ammunition”....I’m just sitting there and wondering....well....what would have been “enough”? Fifteen rounds? One round (the Barney Fife situation)? Forty rounds? A typical Marine will carry 1,500 rounds on himself if on patrol. So are we talking about 2,500 rounds found on the guy?
He was a former member of the Nation of Islam. That should be the headline. Former, as in now dead. The Nation of Islam is a terrorist organization.
