U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan are among those speaking to the Texas delegation next week at the Republican National Convention, according to a tentative schedule obtained by The Texas Tribune...
Cruz's speech could be his only public remarks in Cleveland beside his address Wednesday night to all of the convention's delegates...
A spokeswoman said Cruz will not be at the convention Thursday night, meaning he is likely to miss the speech in which his former rival, Donald Trump, accepts the Republican nomination...

Cruz should just stay home and pout, and keep his whining to himself. As for Ryan, I hope he’s defeated in his primary next month, and will be gone for good.
I’m not sure why either one of them get to speak at the convention. They are both nothing more than weasels in my opinion.
Ted Cruz seems more sophomorish by the day.
His behavior is not that of a Christian. He needs to get a grip.
Her son is in legal trouble and I think her husband is still needing a lot of care. People made fun of Trump saying she was too far away, but maybe he meant she would be too far away from where she needs to be
Eventually “clans” true colors come to light especially when you show one of them up as the unappealing and oh-so DULL person he is. I personally don’t give a red rats arse if the Bushes stay away.......ALL OF ‘EM.....I wish Cruzzzzzz would have stayed away too......damn all of them!!
I’d out him on a strict pitch count. If he changes even one syllable of his submitted speech, his mic gets pulled.
I like Sarah but I can’t stand the way she delivers a speech.....sorry but that’s the way I feel.....
“It don’t mean a thing if you ain’t got that swing” LOL! Thanks, monkapotamus.
Interesting insight.
Cruz is so much like Obama it’s scary.
That’s an insult to Cubanadians around the US....
:-)
Well I only meant psychologically, but I can see where other Cruznadians would take offense.
;)
Oops.
Cruznadians = Cubanadians
And to think I used to praise a Trump/Cruz ticket. Cruz could have been the VP, only he unraveled and became abnormally obsessed with attacking Trump and his behavior at a later debate was embarrassingly juvenile.
Can’t say that Trump isn’t bending over backwards to make friends with Cruz.
Agreed. Her voice is annoying.
If this is the case, I wish Sarah would give us credit for valuing honesty and knowing truth when we hear it. Just say so. But perhaps she has too much pride to let everyone know that life at the family home is going through a difficult time. Maybe she thinks too many people (Joy Behar, Obama even) would gloat openly over her misfortunes if she just told it like it is. I think that’t probably it.
I briefly thought this was actually going to happen, but that idea collapsed completely when Ted tossed a log onto the media/Uniparty/CLE bullsh*t bonfire the night that the orcs got violent in Chicago.
