Looks like it’s still up in the air. Jets apparently scrambling and scaring off protestors. All it takes is one missile at erdogans plane. Also saw that all planes turned off transponders so that coup can’t ID them.

The coup leaders were watching CNN for instructions. When Wes Clark came on and gave instructions, well, off they went to execute them.
CNN Atlanta also reported some explosions in Ankara and Istanbul.

“The Turkish army’s assigned role under the secular government established by Ataturk was to be the protector of the secular government.”
That has been the role of the Turkish army since Atatuck. To make sure Turkey is a democrat, secular society. They are the good guys. The bad guy is the worthless president who’s a member of the Muslim Brotherhood who wants to put the country under Sharia Law. Not going to happen in Turkey. If this current coup doesn’t succeed it’s a matter of time before the people take their country back.

According to Anderson Cooper, Turkic Coup Soldiers have entered the offices of CNN Turk. Not sure how long CNN Turk will remain on the air
Bit late for that. Not the best planned coup of all time.
