Reports surfaced on Thursday afternoon that presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump picked Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his vice president (VP).
As Trump narrowed in on his choice of Pence, the two men spent time at both Trumps golf resort in New Jersey in early July and at the Indiana governors mansion this week, Roll Call notes, citing an anonymous Republican source for the report.
The New York Times and CBS have also reported the pick is Pence.
However, the Trump campaign is denying this is true.
1/2 A decision has not been made by Mr. Trump. He will be making a decision in the future

I don’t think Drudge would put it up as a headline if he didn’t have confirmation.

Sounds like a trial balloon. Seemed to go over pretty well. He’ll be the VP.

A way to find and plug a leak?
Tell three different people, three different names and see which one appears on Drudge in an hour.

No one is even caring who Hillary is going to pick for VP. I hope Trump & Co. have looked ahead to how they can steal the limelight from her when she announces whatever sadsack she’s picked.

Indiana newspaper confirming Pence has dropped his bid for reelection as governor of Indiana. Hannity will have him on his show tomorrow night and a joint interview with Trump on Sunday with Lesley Stahl on 60 Minutes.

Mike Pence isnt the VP pick
You may be right, but I wonder why the certainty.
The notion that Trump has some "secret" VP under
wraps would have required too much subterfuge.
Trump like to have fun, but he is also very straightforward,
so I think his saying he narrowed it to 3 was the truth.

True or not, Trump is getting huge amounts of attention with this.”
Trump is a master at getting free publicity/advertising.

Interesting that Sarah Palin is not listed as a convention speaker.
If it goes to Pence, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Newt as Sec. of State.

The Indy paper didn’t confirm Pence dropped, they infered he dropped by a report of a decision being made. Hope Hicks says the decision has not been made.

You're absolutely right. You have reminded me that I have given
the matter no thought for a couple of weeks, but have spent a lot
of time thinking about Trump's VP. I think it telling that the media
have spent little ink on her VP.
