Reports surfaced on Thursday afternoon that presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump picked Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his vice president (VP).
As Trump narrowed in on his choice of Pence, the two men spent time at both Trumps golf resort in New Jersey in early July and at the Indiana governors mansion this week, Roll Call notes, citing an anonymous Republican source for the report.
The New York Times and CBS have also reported the pick is Pence.
However, the Trump campaign is denying this is true.

Oops. My bad.
I think that I need a cold shower now...
The only person who potentially know at this point are Pence, Gingrich and Trump and I don't think any of them are leaking.
Besides I can't imagine a rational logic tree that leads to milquetoast Pence. He's not even a good cheerleader.
He's more of a quiet, trench warfare kinda guy.
If picking him would cause SOME Evangelicals to vote for Trump, when they would not otherwise...we don't need them.
What makes you say Joni? I really got excited at the first mention of her, then disappointed as she seemed to fade.
Boy, would I love to see her breeze into the limelight. I’m hoping you’re right. She’s killer (not perfect if all you care about is conservative ratings, but) killer.
I think it will be Sarah Palin...
LOL
The fastest way to lose the election.
Pence was pretty straight faced in some news comments yesterday. said was humble to even be considered and such, but seemed almost down, as if he got impression it would not be him. He was a a carnival or such. He kind of turned away from reporters before they seemed through with questions.
I love Sarah. She can get a cabinet position if she wants one, but not VP. She has no legislative experience.
I’m still holding out hope for Marsha Blackburn, but it looks like Pence.
The Indy paper is owned by Gannett.
So WHY the big announcement on Drudge?
Christie as AG?
I read about Gov. Sarah Palin in WSJ from her election on. She was on my short list for VP before she was on McCain’s. I hope she gets a cabinet post in the Trump Administration.
some of Trumps closest allies havent heard official word its Pence

good advice.
Townhall is reporting Pence has suspended his governor’s campaign en light of being chosen.
Better choice than Newt or Christie.
Rather had Sessions or Lt. Col. Allen West.
Bolonie! Sarah Palin was ravaged by the news media with the help of the Romney/McCain backers.
She was a solid governess, a solid conservative, and all for cleaning up the swamp in DC.
She would make a perfect Trump/Palin VP and can fight like heck.
I cannot get excited about Pence. He’s too easily rolled. When the Indiana legislature passed a law stating that merchants were not required to perform certain business operations if it clashed with their religious scruples, the fudge packers went on the warpath.
In less than 24 hours, Pence folded like a paper parasol and vetoed the law.
Actions have consequences. And I don’t think someone who would easily throw all the Christian merchants and craftspeople under the proverbial bus, in slavish deference to a cult of rebellious sodomites, deserves to hold an office one heartbeat away from the Presidency.
“So WHY the big announcement on Drudge?”
Drudge does not make news, he just reports what other news sources are publishing.
