Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump in Iowa and Pennsylvania, while the two are tied in the key battleground state of Ohio, according to a trio of new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist polls.
In Iowa, the presumptive Democratic nominee is ahead of Trump by three points among registered voters, 42 percent to 39 percent, which is within the poll's margin of error of plus-minus 3.4 percentage points while a combined 18 percent say neither, other or undecided. In Pennsylvania, she leads the presumptive GOP nominee by nine points, 45 percent to 36 percent, with 19 percent saying neither or undecided. (In April, it was Clinton 54 percent, Trump 39 percent.)

Democratic Convention Host Chair Ed Rendell: Trump Is Right On Trade And China
You know all that Donald Trump says isnt wrong, continued Rendell. Its the way he says it and there are many things he does say thats wrong.
But hes right about China. We have for some reason not stood up to China. Weve allowed them to manipulate their currency, which gives their businesses tremendous advantage in selling to America. They came in here and tried to dump low-priced, subsidized steel pipe to get rid of the steel pipe industry in the U.S.
At this point, if Clinton is ahead anywhere it’s a Bad Sign for America.
Another poll had Trump up 6 points in Pennsylvania.
It’s an NBC poll. Hey NBC, how’s that Olympics coming? Hope you lose your ass.
“...Buffalo straddles...”
I agree with your analysis. Buffalo is where my husband’s clan originated and we love the down to earth people there when we go to reunions; there is most definitely a more mid western attitude and mid western feel in Buffalo then can be found in the snobbier east coast New England states.
I grew up in the southern tier and a logical case could be made that the mid western mindset might begin even farther east than Buffalo; the “pop” vs. “soda” terminology for soft drinks could even be the demarcation line. I think that cuts through the state around Syracuse.
Pop vs Soda IS a shibboleth. It IS pop, of course.
More feces.
The people in the Midwest understand that Queen Hillary will help them!
She will provide for all through the warmth of her love!
I weep....weep.....with joy thinking of the kindness of Queen Hillary!
May she reign a thousand years!
