Venezuelas Marxist President Nicolás Maduro (shown, left) closed the loop on Monday night, declaring under powers granted to himself by his emergency decree announced in January (later to be declared constitutional by his hand-picked Supreme Court) that his new Great Sovereign Supply Mission would be run by the countrys defense minister, Vladimir Padrino López (shown, right).
Maduro put everything that moves into the hands of Padrino: "All the ministries, all the ministers, all the state institutions are at the service [of] and in absolute subordination [to the new mission]."
Padrino, the head of Venezuelas armed forces, now will be in charge of transporting and distributing whats left of products supplied by the crippled economy, enforcing price controls, and stimulating the economy.
A former head of the armed forces commission in the now emasculated congress, Luis Manuel Esculpí, said, This is now a completely militarized government. The army is Maduros [sole] source of authority.

Yeah, remember Soetero’s first FCC director, talking about the “wonderful things happening in Venezuela. Let’s talk to that Schmuck now.
All of you are wrong!!!
It is the People’s Dictatorship!
The Bern now has plenty-o-time to go fix Venezuela.
They will conscript all former workers and compel them to work with no wages...at the point of a gun.
You will get your wish.
However, it might not be Venezuela that collapses.
It might be Puerto Rico. Or Detroit. Or Chicago. Or L.A.
"Socialism is its own reward."
Dictatorship of the Proletariat.
Our Left believes that THEY are the ones who are finally SMART enough to centrally manage an economy.
That and they believe modern computer software will allow them to finally master this task.
Just waiting for the SAP Five Year Plan Module to be released...
I think Maduro will be removed—one way or another. Most of the populace of Venezuela now hates the government regardless of political persuasion, especially with the near-complete collapse of the Venezuelan economy.
This is always how it ends when the $$ finally runs out.
Cool. Interesting to watch. Once again - Marxism is scientific process of history, as it does follow the same steps EVERY TIME - although not quite in the same process as Marxists like to think.
agitation >> takeover >> free shit >>corruption>> bankruptcy >> collapse >> violence>> executions>> starvation >> more collapse >> military dictatorship >> more collapse
Sadly, the worlds needs a constant, running example of the evils of collectivism as a fresh lesson every day. Even then, many people are still deluded about its nature.
We should be grateful that we in the United States do not have a ruthless, despotic totalitarian political figure who has the chance to subvert the entire Supreme Court to her policies and programs...oh, wait...
But then again, if I wasn't Maduro, I would almost certainly be doing a better job and wouldn't need an aircraft.
So punchable
This is a rerun of whay happended in Chili.
1998 - Chavez elected
2013 - Venezuela toilet paper shortage
2015 - Venezuela food shortage
Took awhile to completely destroy the country - the “people” did nothing but leach, steal or run away
Venezuelans don’t need toilet paper given the current exchange rate of the Bolivar.
What’s with these Venezuelans. They have President Ripe and Defense Minister Godfather.
“Maybe part of the lyin kings playbook before Nov.?”
With a third of the population armed to the teeth? May as well raise a white flag over 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue right now.
