Wow! Hillary is running ads 24/7 against Trump and 52% of voters said they saw her ads. Meanwhile, Trump has spent nothing on ads and 46% of voters think they saw one of his ads recently. This is a huge competitive advantage for Trump when he can make voters think they saw his ads but he is not spending hundreds of millions of dollars like Hillary. And with all her spending, Trump is ahead of Hillary in recent polls.

Amazing accomplishment on Trump's part.

We just saw a very nice ad supporting Trump on FNC about half an hour ago. Both the wife and I thought it was good.

It was a guy standing in a veterans graveyard and he mentioned Benghazi. There was an NRA symbol on the last screen shoot.

It sounds to me that a lot of people were seeing hillary’s ads and mistaking them for pro-Trump ads. Somehow, that doesn’t strike me as a particularly effective ad strategy. :=)

I have a feeling lots of people saw Hillary’s ads and immediately thought “This woman is nuts. This must be a Trump ad.”

The only ad I have seen here in Illinois is that dumb ass Hillary ad that shows pictures of her from 30 or so years ago.

Why is she bothering to run ads in Illinois of all places? Is she that scared of Trump?

This is going to be a very, very rare campaign where both candidates have almost universal name recognition and yet neither is the sitting President.

This is another parallel to the 1968 campaign of former Vice-president Nixon against sitting Vice-president Humphrey.

I think before that you would have to go all the way back to 1908 and the Taft/Bryan election to find another similar election.

Most people have already formed opinions of both candidates, so the lines of the contest are already known. It’s just a matter of turn-out for the base.

The Clintons and other Liberals have been lecturing us on the fact that there is “too much money” in the election process. Trump is proving that you can have a very cost-effective campaign with far less money. Compare what Trump paid out during the primaries to knock off a whole host of Republican candidates and he spent somewhere around $3.5M per knock-out (while Jeb! wasted over $100M fighting Trump). Hillary had to spend tens of millions, if not over a hundred million to knock out a 74 year old, washed up, Independent collectivist socialist who has been a Democrat for only a few months. Trump has spent nearly nothing since he became the presumptive R candidate and is either leading Hillary or tied in most polls, with Hillary spending money like a drunken Washington bureaucrat.

This is really a bizarre phenomenon actually. I live in California, and for some reason I have been thinking I also saw a couple of Trump ads here in the San Francisco Bay Area. And the words “Trump 2016” below while the ad played.

But then I am thinking now, reading this article - I don’t think Trump has run any ads, or if he did that I actually didn’t see any of them. Because even though in my mind I clearly see the portrait of Trump (handsome guy, he is) and the logo “Trump 2016”, and I see the ad as an attack on Hillary - where she is shown as the old hag she is and as a liar - and then I see Trump saying something about supporting our vets ... actually... it never happened.

Bizarre!

This must be a MAGIC moment in our history, because I am seeing campaign ads for Trump THAT DO NOT EVEN EXIST! I think this means something. It means the higher forces ARE ON OUR SIDE AND THE SIDE OF TRUMP!

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU

Trump ran ads. Very few, but he ran ads in California and Indiana. Trump also put out videos on line.

It goes to show a number of things:

If you are a screeching, fat, lesbian crook with a 40-year history of lying, murder, and corruption, people block out your ads.

If you are the only candidate proposing to save the country from invasion by armies of raping, murdering Mexicans and Muslims, people will think they’ve seen ads that don’t exist.

Money spent on TV, a dying medium, is wasted.

I see lot of ads with Trump’s own words being used against him.
And a lot with some retired military officer complaining Trump doesn’t have the temperament to be CiC.
