Ohhhh....now you’re gone and done it; you’ve made me covet! I’m probably getting my own apartment next year and I’ve been dreaming about how I’ll do things. By necessity it will be modern furniture in age, but I’m determined to have a wingback chair!
Have not seen Williamsburg in person, but it’s high on my bucket list, along with Monticello and Mount Vernon. When I was in school I would regularly read Early American Life magazine and drool. They had a houseplan in each issue; I would dream over the saltboxes and the Cape Cod houses! One of my favorite authors was (and still is) Gladys Taber, who lived in a 17th century saltbox in Connecticut.

Evangelical voters are rallying strongly in favor of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Indeed, the latest Pew Research Center survey finds that despite the professed wariness toward Trump among many high-profile evangelical Christian leaders, evangelicals as a whole are, if anything, even more strongly supportive of Trump than they were of Mitt Romney at a similar point in the 2012 campaign.
Now, fully 78% of white evangelical voters say they would vote for Trump if the election were held today, including about a third who “strongly” back his campaign.
Meanwhile, religiously unaffiliated voters – those who describe their religion as “atheist,” “agnostic” or “nothing in particular” – are lining up behind Hillary Clinton over Trump,

I'd rather have my old Chicago apartment back, but that's not going to ever happen.
My house is a white clapboard, green shutters, Greek Revival, with Corinthian columns, center hall design, with three fireplaces.
Don't covet; make your place your very own and be happy in it! :-)
I love, love LOVE wing chairs and have seven of them now. LOL
My mother had them too and I was going to have them too, come hell or high water! :-)
My kiddo felt the same way and has two gorgeous ones.
I don't know if they're still in business, but COLONIAL HOME magazine will make you covetous even more, but you'll learn a lot!
Sadly, they don't make furniture like they used to, which is why I just get older stuff recovered. :-)
For a first apartment, get a GOOD sofa, because you'll be sitting on that, most of the time! Choose colors that you LOVE and build on that pallet. If you ever need help, just drop me a note in FREEmail! :-)
