My boyfriend carries all his information in a thick wallet in his right side back pocket, Reynolds said. As hes reaching for his back pocket wallet he lets the officer know, Officer, I have a firearm on me. I begin to yell, But hes licensed to carry. According to Reynolds, the officer started firing shortly after.

>>I think she was calm because she was stoned. The 2 were getting high in the car all with the little girl in the back
of the car.<<
Bingo! Drugs are so common affecting behavior these days.
One of the rules was, don't ride with a mad woman.
It's starting to look like that woman is crazy.
He probably told her that he had a CCW permit, which was a lie.
The local county sherrif said he did not have a CCW permit.
I never know if there is a gun in the car, so it is a non-issue, I keep my mouth shut, and keep hands in sight and NOT moving. License is already on dash by the time the truck comes to a stop.
An ex-felon I know sticks both hands out the window past his elbows whenever he is stopped, and waits till he is told what to do. Perhaps he knows more than the average driver?
At least one sheriff has come out and said that if he had a CCW, he didn’t get it in their county. So one of the latest questions is where did they get the verification that he actually had a CCW, other than the girl’s word of it.
He should keep handcuffs in his car and throw himself to the ground already cuffed before the LEO even gets out of their car.
I have only seen that Castile had a rap sheet of driving infractions. Are you confusing this with the guy from Baton Rouge?
He got weed! He got weed!

Funniest video ever.
Should say, “Contradicts Herself Again.” This is the 3rd or 4th story she’s told.
I think felons are forbidden from carrying cuffs, not sure. BBguns and mace are forbidden as are firearms, or fake firearms.
I am thinking that in 7 years, he heard plenty of stories from folks that have “been there and done that”, so his reasoning is based on a realistic fear of what can happen.
She sounds like she may be the latest Crystal Mangum. I completely believed her at first, but with the latest quotes from her, that original story is sounding like half-truths.
candidate for Darwin Award depending on how real facts shake out
Don’t forget that clasic BOLO for a large black man driving a gray Toyota truck with a camper top. So the cops stopped an open bed BLUE Chevy truck with 2 old hispanic women in it and shot it up when they didn’t respond to instructions.
And now the female says neither gun nor permit were mentioned by any parties in this incident.
According to the Star Tribune, "Although the names of gun permit holders are not public under state law, a source confirmed Castile was issued the permit when he lived in Robbinsdale."
Also she was so wasted that day she wasn’t even slightly sane.
In the video, Reynolds said Castile told the officer, Jeronimo Yanez, that he had a permit and was carrying a gun. Yanez shot Castile multiple times.
Hes licensed to carry, he was trying to get his ID, his wallet out of his pocket and he let the officer know he had a firearm and was reaching for his wallet, Reynolds said in the video as a bloodied Castile lay in the drivers seat dying.
Although the names of gun permit holders are not public under state law, a source confirmed Castile was issued the permit when he lived in Robbinsdale.
I don’t see why the names of deceased people who had ccp couldn’t be mentioned. Any articles saying had one only say “source”. I want to know how bona fide the source is.
But even more important, now Lavish/Diamond says no gun or permit thereof was even mentioned during the incident.
dash can dash cam probably wont show in inside the car body cam could but the pd there does not use them
“Permit or not, a citizen displaying a gun during a traffic stop is stupid, at best, but more likely trying to get shot or shoot someone.”
You keep your hands still and in plain sight and you don’t move much as you tell the cop all about where the gun is and them ask you what they would like you to do. Did this last week when I got my first ticket in over a decade. He said, ‘as long as you don’t point it at me we are cool.’
That turned out to be worth $4.2m.
