Importance in Burn Therapy:
Silver also has had a significant impact on the treatment of burns. Twenty years ago it was common for the wounds of severely burned patients to become infected, which delayed healing and sometimes led to death. Today silver sulfadiazine is used by hospitals worldwide to kill bacteria allowing the body time to restore the area naturally. Sulfadiazine is a know antibacterial agent. Combined with silver, studies show it is at least 50 times more active than other antibacterial agents. Silvadene now is the most widely used topical treatment for burn therapy. Other silver compounds also are being developed for use wherever silver sulfadiazine proves ineffective.
Prayers up. That sounds terrible. I’m glad to hear TX has such a great governor. Praying he recovers fully and soon.
I don’t think many of us here knew that he was paralyzed.
Strange. I was thinking the same thing.
Off topic, but do you know if he was interviewed by Trump?
Prayers UP!!!!
Joe Biden couldn't have said it better.
GMTA.... I was wondering the SAME thing!
Silver oxide is one of the best treatments for preventing wound infections. Justin, my oldest son is a medical technician in a hospital burn unit and uses it all the time.
The news article states he can feel the pain.
Silver is an antibacterial. An Antibiotic. Think of it like mercury poisoning of people but it is ok with us mammals... the nasties die from it.
PS from my cat laying on the keyboard.

I don’t believe so. And not sure he would be interested in such an alliance. He is in his first term as governor and not a climber like Cruz. He is a man of integrity and class. Rare commodities both.
“irsch said the governor still has functioning nerve receptors in his legs and feet, however, and that he has felt pain as they react to the shock of being burned.”
He’s a keeper for Texas. Prayers for him to have a speedy and full recovery. Has to be so painful!
