The Executive Director of the Minnesota Police & Peace Officers Association released a strongly worded statement Friday regarding the recent officer-involved shootings.
"First of all, and most importantly, our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the recent tragic events in Falcon Heights, Dallas and Baton Rouge. The families and friends, the faith communities that provide much needed support to those affected they all need our prayers and support. The nation needs consoling at this time. Governor Daytons extraordinarily presumptive conclusion that the tragic incident in Falcon Heights was motivated by race is the height of political malfeasance that could lead to a miscarriage of justice, if not more violence. There is an active investigation under way. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is beyond reproach in its conduct. Until the facts are completely understood and assembled, our elected officials must instill confidence and reassurance while rejecting incendiary terms that could provoke more violence. Invoking racism without foundation of fact is incendiary.

If I must what? What are you talking about?
Useless to show visuals to a blind man.
You in 46: someone show us what Dayton really said
In 57 I supply a video showing Dayton speaking
And your reply is “If you must” - which makes no sense.
OK, I give up. If trying to find the truth is being “blind with blame”, then I am guilty as charged.
Ignore Hi-tech (Liberal) Redneck. It will always find a way to blame the Right.
Just a suggestion to concealed carriers. If you are in a car that gets pulled over. Have your drivers license and whatever else the cop is entitled to ask you for out and in your hands before they even ask.
Hi. Can you check the link on the American Thinker article. Not working :(
Or can you summarize it for us?
They sure know how to pick them in MN.

...
If this shooting turns out to be justified I hope the officer sues the governor into oblivion.
Why do Minnesota residents elect such idiot officeholders?
Don’t worry about it.
Reactionism is becoming a self fulfilling prophecy today.
The person who calls for calm without blaming will be the hero in the end. This needs to be between God and men in the end, not between men and men.
More reactionism... the devil grins.
And don’t forget, what might slide civically might still have a conscience issue embedded in it.
Issued by the various Counties but good state-wide, yes?
That’s kind of how it ought to be.
This incident has a lot of people’s hair on fire today.
Hennepin is Minneapolis. Weird things sometimes go down in Minneapolis.

This is an excerpt:
"...Ms. Reynolds also claims her boyfriend, Castile, was holding a concealed carry permit for a firearm that was resting on his left thigh. This also appears to be false.
According to a question presented to the local county sheriff who oversees the Concealed Carry Permit process, Mr. Castile had never requested a concealed carry permit from their office:
It is possible a CCP was obtained in another county, however the media are conflating permit to purchase with concealed carry permit. For some reason the CCP ownership is being amplified; it really has no bearing and is largely irrelevant for the context of the situation. That said, there is no factual evidence Mr. Philando Castile had a CCP..."
