Dallas police used bomb robot to kill shooting suspect
By James Rogers Published July 08, 2016 FoxNews.com
Dallas police used an explosive device attached to a robot to kill a suspect in the coordinated sniper attack that killed five officers Thursday, in what experts say is a first for law enforcement.
In a press conference Police Chief David Brown explained that the robot was deployed on the second floor of El Centro College in downtown Dallas following a standoff early Friday.
We cornered one suspect and we tried to negotiate for several hours - negotiations broke down, we had an exchange of gunfire with the suspect, he said. We saw no other option but to use our bomb robot and place a device on its extension for it to detonate where the suspect was, he said.
Brown explained that other options would have exposed the police officers to great danger.
The police chief confirmed that the suspect was killed by the bombs detonation, noting that reports the suspect killed himself were inaccurate.

Why should they? They knew who he was and what he had done, and they weren't going to let this paralyze the city for a week. Secondly, it wouldn't work if a "good samaritan" from the UN showed up and wanted to feed him, the press and the lying liberals would force the cops to let them.
By the end of the first week, they would have mobilized every black militant and neo-commie "student" in the country to come down for another round of rioting.
Afraid hed be a problem for them if he lived?
Well, I don't know what you're implying by that, but I think the answer is so obvious I'm amazed you need to ask the question.
They have an old legal principal down in Texas that needs to be acknowledged.
HE NEEDED KILLING.
A “high tech lynching” where the cops are judges, jury and executioners.
They could have smoked him out with recordings of HRC.
You certainly have a low opinion of Texas law enforcement.
But after this incident — maybe your low opinion of Texas LEOs is justified.
LOL! Love it.
My kids are college age, but they and their friends seem pretty well versed on 80s pop music. They didn't know about the B-52s, though.
Absolutely right. I don’t care if they gassed him, sicced dogs on him, or blew his ass to pieces. Dead is what he needed to be and dead is what he is.
No question about guilt, no costly lawyers, no 10 years on death row only to be turned loose by some dipshit governor.
D.E.A.D.
Old Battle Droids seldom follow orders
Can you imagine the rioting if they made a remake of The Three Stooges with several black actors playing idiots? Not a bad idea, one of the most humorous comedy TV shows was In Living Color with black buffoons.
No waiting him out lest he gets away and shoots more. kill the S.O.B. and be done with him.
“Coordinated sniper attack”......I’m confused. How many shooters were there? “Coordinated” implies more than one, yet I haven’t anything about others who were killed or arrested.
You're talking all wrong to my guy al baby.
It's the wrong tone.
In Living Color was great because, since the performers were black, they could get away with saying very non-PC things that a white comic would be destroyed for saying.
Not at all. He remained armed a dangerous, that's obvious. He murdered cops in full view of the public. There was no reason not to kill him as quickly as possible with as few losses as possible. There was nothing about this piece of shit that mitigates what he did, and no need for more cops to die to bring this to an end.
Innocent until proven obliterated remotely...
LOL!
In Living Color could never be made today.
Is ther any difference between shooting the f#%&er and blowing him up?
WHO KNEW that the suspect had Space Battleship Yamato parked in a nearby back alley, waiting to pulverize the city of Dallas?
Get real, Kenton. Just because law enforcement is getting The Vapors over something, doesn't mean their reaction is reality.
