I completely agree and the media will place more focus on Trump’s statements out of context and let this whole thing die.

All you need to know about Comey has been well documented in the Wall Street Journal over the past five years. His career as a prosecutor was that of a Democratic poodle who harassed and prosecuted Republicans with very flimsy cases. No doubt Obama ,Clinton Lynch and Comey feel really good about themselves how they finessed this scandal. However if Trump is able to direct his big guns in an effective manner at Clinton’s glaring vulnerabilities, she will begin to stall and sink in the polls. Obama will regret that he did not force her out with a legitimate indictment when he had the chance.
The Reps are making a big mistake holding these hearings. They will wind up helping the Dems and Hillary. They are the gang who couldn’t shoot straight.
Does anyone know:
1) Will Comey be under oath?
2) Can congress offer him immunity? (i.e. protect him from Obama.)
If either of those or both are true, perhaps he might really say something.
Doubtful. Probably just couple hours waxing the dolphin.

What channel? The major networks will be playing it?
Right after Comey did that drama-mama-let-down statement, all I heard was how Comey was very well-respected, the epitome of good behavior.
Yet he was part of that Fitzgerald team that sent Scooter Libby to jail when it was Richard Armitage revealing that Valerie Plame was a receptionist in the CIA gym....go to hell.
They think they can just say something and boom, it’s true.
James Comey is a man with NO morals or good conscience. That’s MY take.
Hopefully Trump for President.
Won’t be able to watch but could someone ask him if anyone else will be prosecuted.

Will Comey have counsel?
Strategically, this is probably a mistake. Every statement Comey makes to defend his decision will provide talking points for the Democrats. The Republicans would be much better served by the characterization of the recklessness made in the original comments.
