There seem to be an awful lot of FReepers who still believe our electoral system won’t be manipulated by the Powers That Be. I’m still gonna vote, but I have no faith that my vote will be counted towards the candidate I choose. Mark my words, no matter the outrage among the voters, no matter the dissent, Hillary will be named the winner of the election. It’s a done deal. There is no more integrity in our electoral process. The outcome is in the bag.

You can steal a close election but you cannot steal a landslide. Trump is likely going to win in a landslide.

I agree with you, it will be Madam President Clinton for the next 4/8 years .
It will also be Loretta Lynch on SCOTUS and possibly Obama as well and Comey ( for his reward) will be the Attorney General. The next 20 to 30 years of the courts will be as far left as it can get and the spineless Repubs will just bend over and take it.
Our country and the Republic has gone to hell. Oh well, they say a republic should only last 200 years so I guess we have outlived most.

A vote for anyone other than Trump would ensure a Clinton victory, however, I believe the end result has already been accomplished. This election cycle has opened my eyes to the corruption of both parties and their quest for power. I think they let us “vote” because they want us to still believe in the illusion that the integrity of the process is still intact. They still call the shots.
Someone else mentioned that landslides can’t be stolen, but I disagree. Tell me again how Iran, China, and Russian leaders all won their elections. Nary an opposition vote.
In my precinct, the machines don’t make a printout of your vote. How is anyone to be sure where any vote gets counted without a receipt of such?

Depends on who is on the committee and what questions are asked.
At the high end are direct questions that demand that he quote title, section, page and paragraph of his opening statements. Intentions will never enter into the questioning. Potentially an i8mmediate open public trial of Clinton’s activities with minimal political cover.
At the low end is your nothing burger.
BTW - some of the committee members may be out for Clinton’s blood to curry favor with DJT after January 2017.

What a joke. Congress has done nothing for 8 years and they’re not going to now.
The Republicans’ performance on most committee hearings does little to inspire confidence.
There is one particular question that they should ask (but probably won’t): Were any of the Secretary’s emails sent to the president or any of his top aids? His response to, and the implications of, that question could be very revealing.
Why? The FBI man stood up there and stated H.Clinton totally compromised national security, but is not guilty.

Some folks are a bit slow. After all these years of nothing but decline and deceit, it still hasn’t sunk in that their government is a corrupt charade from the top down.
