CCI Mini-mag is good stuff.
In the coming years, they’re going to get a lot of business from folks living west of the Colorado River.
When I see 22LR of any variety on the shelf at the WalMart here in Maricopa, then I will agree wthat the supply and demand have equalized. Since I cannor reload .22, I will hang on to what I have, just in case. Practice will just have to continue on with 9mm & 38.
And all of the gunowners from Calfi-pornia will be beating down the doors.
I had .22 shells stockpiled but we have shot over 2000 rabbits this year and haven’t been able to easily restock. We look at Walmart but they never have any.
.22 still has not made an appearence on Walmart shelves in VA.
Aguila has added another line and should soon be pumping out another billion rounds a year.
That should help.
I travel around Texas dealing with hardware stores, many of which carry ammo. I also stop into gun stores and pawn shops every chance I get. I’ve been seeing .22 come back in good quantity, and the price has been steadily dropping.
I read an interesting article where the guy’s idea that .22 ammo should be treated as a commodity like gasoline or milk.
If the price was allowed to fluctuate with supply and demand the ammo makers would be the profit takers and take out the out of work price gougers who camp out in WalMart.
After Jan 1, many Californians will drive to other states to buy ammo. Dad lives in Reno and I visit him often.
What day of the week?
CCI Mini-mag is the only .22lr I will purchase.
Wow! According to Walmart’s web site the only .22 available at any store within 50 miles of me is one (1) box of Winchester Hyper Velocity at the store on Elliot Road in Tempe. I may be driving to Yuma next weekend.
Open the boxes, they are probably empty.
Best deals on 22 lr...
You can get 5 - 500 round bricks (2500 rounds) for $205 shipped to your door.
That’s about $41 per brick, tax, shipping and all!
That Aguila superextra is good accurate ammo.
Anybody know of Stainless Steel Hollow Point 22LRs?
