When I see 22LR of any variety on the shelf at the WalMart here in Maricopa, then I will agree wthat the supply and demand have equalized. Since I cannor reload .22, I will hang on to what I have, just in case. Practice will just have to continue on with 9mm & 38.
You can reload .22. It is quite a bit of work, but it can be done. The hardest part is mixing the priming compound and repriming the case.
It is easier to recharge centerfire primers than to reload .22 cases.

Actually, you can. It’s just a more involved and longer process than center fire ammo. If you do some searching online, you can find the company that sells the dies. There’s a few videos and articles on how to go about it.
