My point about using John Roberts as an example. Remember we are talking about Washington DC. In WDC, it seems people go there who are conservative and straight-shooters, and after being tainted by the WDC ilk, they become somebody else. You’re right, there are millions of people in normal walks of life who are forth right and dependable and keep their integrity and their word. It just does not seem to hold true in WDC.

One difference is that unlike Blumenthal in particular, Broadwell had extensive security clearances - though what he was charged with involved exchanging information over an unsecured cloud, which certainly is similar to one part.
