Denver (CNN)Donald Trump is turning to his family, sports figures and business leaders to fill speaking slots at the Republican National Convention later this month as scores of prominent Republican leaders continue to refuse to line up behind their controversial nominee-to-be.
Trump announced Friday that his wife and children "are all going to be speaking" at the nominating convention that kicks off in just over two weeks. And the real estate mogul has also promised to add sports figures and other non-politicians who are supporting him to the roster of convention speakers, which would set the 2016 convention apart from past conventions packed with current and former elected officials.
The unconventional programming, which Trump has said will include a "winners' night," comes as his campaign and the Republican National Committee are facing an unusual problem unseen in past conventions: a lack of interest in speaking slots from many party elders and rising stars.

Short dynamic speeches from: Sports heroes, War heroes and Business sector heroes. That should be the line up of speakers. Plus a few country western people, for example like Nugent. NO RINOS, NO ESTABLISHMENT POLITICIANS

Trump will get the most traction by having his wife and kids speak at the convention. I think that strategy will further humanize Trump. and introduce the next first family to the country.
Trump should have a photo collage of a few dozen track hoes, pile drivers, Cat D9s and other heavy equipment on a freight train ready for his signal to travel to Texas to begin building The Wall.
Diamond and Silk are awesome and entertaining young ladies! Trump has already featured them in rallies.

Clint Eastwood was darned good last time. Hugh Hewitt, some Talk Radio pundits. James Dobson or a black Christian preacher. An AFL-CIO union guy. It would be wonderful if Trump had a huge swath of folks from many different walks of life.
The Red Chinese and the Saudis purchased all our establishment politicians decades ago. Obviously, they don’t want their servants speaking in support of Trump.
