I’m off grains again. Missed them yesterday but not today. Love a good heavy loaf of bread with fresh churned butter. Oh well
The garden is coming on fast. A heritage squash that’s about ready to pick. We had them as a kid but for the life of me don’t remember how mom fixed them. I think they were baked.
Fixed a tomato , fresh mozzerella, olive and basil salad for lunch. There is nothing better than fresh tomatoes. My plants are loaded.
If amenable to the idea... I would trade an agreed upon number of hours of labor, for such edible fare Madame hoosiermama. I surely would.

Can’t ship into California. My cousin and 8 have discussed it. When she would come to see her mom and stay with me she would bring lemons from her tree. Until they started searching suitcases we’d pack some to we d back. ... Jams do travel without confiscation!
