He went further on that in this rally than he has in the past. And it's not just hypocricy, it is also a fundamental issue of trustworthiness. A person who renegs on a pledge, without good justification, can't be trusted. They all knew one of them would prevail in the primaries, there is no extenuating circumstance, no excuse to renege.
Trump yells back ",Oh. we're going to build the WALL, trust me"!
That example there is because he's not on a teleprompter and he's able to interact with his supporters.
AMAZING SKILL
that’s how I feel. If your word is no good, I want nothing to do with you. Why on earth would you trust a single promise a person like that made?
You are most welcome! Truly!
I just had the most remarkable thought-
I am craving a tomato sandwich! You know- the kind where you go out in the garden and pick the biggest tomatoes you can find, and then go in the house and slice them up and put them on bread with mayo, and heavy dashes of black pepper, and a little salt. Yummy!
Year old story.
Another protester, get 'im out.
“What kind of modeling do you do? Swimsuits, pant suits, dresses?”
‘remodeling’, LOL!
Aprons, pots and pans, rolling pins
could be hickory cabinets and granite countertops.... we haven’t quite decided. any good ideas?
You have the nicesnt protesters, here in Maine. Did you see that guy? I said get out, and he said “Yes sir.”
This poor protester didn’t want to leave. Trump says to the protester he needs to get out. The guy yells back to DONALD. “Yes sir.”
Great point.
Well stated. As an example... look at Wash., DC. The prosecution rests your honor.
I love tomatoes fresh out of the garden and tomato sandwiches. Unfortunately, here in Nevada it will be weeks, months before I have fresh tomatoes. :(
“I think the wandering style helps too. He starts on one subject, then diverts. The listener has to pay attention, wondering when he will get to the original subject. In a linear delivery, it is easy to “space out” as the speaker goes from point to point, never coming back.”
I could listen to Trump for hours and never get bored. With regular politicians, a couple of minutes and I’m thinking what to make for dinner.
Exactly. And everyone who is seeing this rally in Maine needs to go back to their cruz/kasich-supporting friends in all 50 states and do whatever they can to head off the GOPe's planned hijack. I'm telling you, they haven't given up yet, and i even suspect some of the GOPe who are allegedly "supporting" Trump now.
I suspect this is a large part of the reason why Trump is even in Maine. I just ran across an article that claimed that the Maine governor was pushing for cruz right up to the end. I haven't read the article yet so that may or may not be accurate.

With Trump's recent speech about his specific financial/trade plans (which Trump is outlining here in Maine again), Ryan and his cohort globalists must be panicking that Trump will be able to actually carry out his America-first plans to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. And now after they saw what happened in Britain with the BRexit, I would think they're desperate.
I know this sounds alarmist, but I put NOTHING past these snakes (cruz, romney, ryan, kasich, etc). Remember, THEY WOULD RATHER HILLARY WIN AND TRUMP LOSE! When you truly wrap your head around that fact, it's mind-boggling.
I honestly can not get enough of Donald J. Trump and #MAGA.....
thank you all for hosting this thread for every rally.
Remember to grab a Milkshake as your walking back to you car. We have more than enough for everyone here.
:O) tomatoes
:O( NV- desert...
:O) or mountains?
LOL! Trump tells the crowd they have the nicest protesters in Maine.
I love the way Trump is naming chapter and verse of various trade laws and agreements. He is not talking through his hat.
He already nailed the US Chamber of Commerce—why would they resist what he is proposing? He exposes so many things.
High desert - a ways outside Carson City.
