HAMDEN According to a new Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday, the race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is too close to call.
Clinton, who is expected to be the Democratic nominee, has 42 percent to the presumptive GOP candidate Donald Trumps 40 percent. Pollsters said the results were within the margin of error of plus or minus 2.4 percentage points.
Clinton had a 45 to 41 percent lead at the beginning of June.

Part of the story.
You will notice a trend in polling, they leave out the demographics.
What is the over-sample of democRATS to reublicans?
most are 38% democRAT to 28% Republican and 51% female to 49% male.
I think the only way that will happen is a complete economic collapse. The only question is when. When it does, things are going to get rather interesting.
demographics are
democRAT = 31%
Republican 28%
51-49 female to male
It’s the same here in western Washington. The Bolsheviks have reigned for so long that Trump supporters and Christians have basically had to go underground.
But, I’ve noticed people are becoming more and more overt in supporting Trump. It’s almost like people are coming out of the closet.
Yup, it’s the EVs that matter.
“What is notable, is that the states that actually matter, they are very close.”
Not according to Ballotpedia, whoever in the hell they are. It came out this morning with a poll showing Clinton blowing Trump away by double digits in all the battle states in all but Iowa, where it’s 4 points. Maybe I’ll do my own poll. Think it would be different than these daily liberal outlier polls showing Trump might as go ahead and quit the race because all America is in love with the bitch of Benghazi?
Just like Brexit, I estimate that there are 2-5% of undecideds who really are for Trump but afraid to admit it to a pollster.
I dont know anyone who talks about Hillary. Maybe that is just because of the people I am around. Her rallies are smart. She looks ridiculous; especially when she stands next to Warren. I see no bumper stickers. Something is very strange. I really fear her presidency if she becomes one. I will keep myself away from as much media as possible, because I don’t even want to hear her by accident.
If you take a look at history, June & July is typically when elections start turning one way or another. Let’s pray it keeps going our way.
Amen to all prayers
"Who do you trust more to appoint at least one, and possibly as many three, judges to lifetime service on the Supreme Court?"
Results would be interesting. Killary would probably win, but not by much.
IMHO, this is THE important issue of this election. Second most important issue is immigration, particularly Muslim immigration.
Watch this. Substitute "Mr. Obama" for Mr. Cameron."
"The poll also measured if third party candidates are added to the survey, Clinton gets 39 percent with Trump at 37 percent. Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson gets 8 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein gets 4 percent."
If a pollster called me ... I wouldn't answer the phone. But if I did answer the phone, I'd say I support Johnson. (I'd consider him the most conservative candidate running.) But come November, if Trump is the Republican candidate, and Clinton is the Democrat, of course I'll vote for Trump.
I truly doubt Johnson will win 8% of the vote and Stein will win 4%. Johnson won 0.99% last time. If (conservatively) 1/2 of the Johnson voters can be expected to split for Trump and 1/2 of the Stein voters split for Clinton, that's 37 + 4 = 41 Trump, 39 + 2 = 41 Clinton.
Additionally, 1% "someone else", 3% "won't vote" and 7% "don't know" -- my guess is that these will break 2-to-1 for Trump. (Who wants to be called a racist-sexist-xenophobe?)
After 2 horrible weeks for Trump with the 'rats, MSM and eGOP all pulling out ALL the stops against him, these are amazing numbers.
QED = Landslide for Trump!
The internals interested me also. Internals here.
The trending part is interesting too. It is here. In almost every category, Killary is declining and Trump is gaining.
Well...well///the Obama/Clinton media caught lie telling to “We, the people once again!!! Did these idiot Obama/Clinton media buffoons think anyone with half a brain thought Clinton was leading? Same thing with the Obama approval ratings....all lies!!! LMAO at these bubble balloon media morons!!!
“Well that new book by that former SS guy must be helping.”
amazon delivered mine yesterday, but haven’t had time to crack the cover.
yeah, and trump hasn’t even really got started yet, while crooked hillary has already spent tens of millions on tv ads.
A ccording to the poll Trump has the support of 33 per cent of Hispanic voters, a number that outperforms Mitt Romney in 2012 and John McCain in 2008...
If folks haven’t decided to vote for Hillary by now, they are making their mind up now as to can they vote for Hillary or will they just not vote at all.
