On a more serious note, the Bullies in Brussels have been increasingly using draconian competitions (antitrust) law rulings as a sort of backdoor protectionism against non-EU companies. That in an area supposedly in favor of free trade?

Bloomberg must be terribly upset that he can’t be one of the power brokers in Brussels. He would fit in so nicely, and he wouldn’t even have to worry about launching gun bans anymore.

Ah yes, ruling over an entire continent made into a “gun free zone”

The wet dream of terrorists, dictators and inner party members everywhere...

I heard one London entrepreneur...imports all his supplies from EU countries. Doesn’t know if he’s going to be completely cut off. But it’s a two way street so the EU better look again at their trade restrictions.

Regs on how straight the cucumbers had to be PLUS different regs on how bent bananas had to be. Let the uber-regulators in and there’s no part of your life you won’t regulate.

Someone should poll the EuroPeons on whether they favor cutting electricity in half by switching from 230 volts to 115 volts.

Well, if it’s like Texas with COMMON CORE, the British government will simply label the toaster and tea kettle regulations as their own, but have them TOTALLY MATCH the EU regulations.

That’s how it works, until you run these types of people out of power, and hopefully, into obscurity.

The problem with the petty tyrants is that they don't know when to quit.

They could get away with so much if they could just curb their inclination to stick their noses into every little thing.

For the most part people are not interested in politics. They just want to be left alone under their own vine and fig tree without worrying about someone coming over the wall.

A smart dictator will make sure these people are given what they want. It doesn't take much. Just allow them run their lives in the little ways and they will leave the big things up to you.

You can literally get away with murder.

But there seems to be a major desire to run ever little aspect of peoples lives. For their own good of course.

So they meddle and they meddle and they meddle until the entire thing blows up in their face and they sit there wondering what went wrong.
