I have relatives that treat the hospital like Club Med and try to end up there at least once a month (seemingly). She's 5'2" and 300+ lbs. and he's 5'11" 400+ pounds and they have all the associated health problems for their fat group.
They're on welfare so they don't pay a dime, but they get: an air-conditioned room with free TV (flat-screen) with remote, a free comfortable and adjustable bed, free cooked meals delivered right to the room, and someone to come anytime they ring the little bell. They don't even have to remember which meds to take when since the nurses do that. Such a deal!
Reminds me of what P.J. O’Rourke said about some career criminals: “They aren’t worried about going to jail. Jail is cleaning than their houses, and they can see all their friends there.”
