Her campaign is based on the premise shell narrow the gap between the rich and the poor and understands the plight of the average working class.
For the factory workers and food servers who stand on their feet all day. For the nurses who work the night shift. For the truckers who drive for hours and the farmers who feed us . For everyone whos ever been knocked down, but refused to be knocked out, Mrs. Clinton said during her presidential kick-off speech last year, vowing to fight for the middle class.
But this is a tough needle to thread, considering Mrs. Clinton is part of the top 1 percent of the 1 percent, and got that way profiting off of public service.
When Mrs. Clinton emerged from the hospital after the birth of her grandson this week, all eyes were on her $3,500 Ralph Lauren calfskin purse, being carried by an aide. New mom Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, paid upwards of $1,700 or more per night to stay in the Lenox Hill hospital in Manhattan, the same one where Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed their daughter.
The executive birthing suite is more like a five-star hotel, with flat-screen TVs, lushly upholstered gray and cream sofas adorned with silken throw pillows, the New York Daily News reported.
A far cry from your average hospital room.
Theres no doubt, Mrs. Clintons had trouble connecting with the people shes trying to reach.
In the latest Quinnipiac poll in the swing states of Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, more than half of the respondents said Mrs. Clinton doesnt care about the needs and problems of people like you.
They also judged rival Donald Trump as more honest and trustworthy.

Rest assured, if confronted by PETA, her purse was made from a calf that had been struck by lightening. It was not slaughtered for the purpose of adorning her outfit or for its young, tender, juicy and delicious beef. No, this use of its carcass was an act of honor, respect and love.
Then PETA would thank her for being so caring of the animals.
That’s wonderful! I vaguely remember that story. O’Toole was a great loss.
In his heyday, he as the handsomest of men.
I love his later film.....the parody of the Sid Ceasar.... he famously said “I’m not an actor...I’m a movie star.”
Oh, I love that movie. My husband absolutely adored him. I was invited to join them that night and turned them down. Is my face red?
BTTT
fair enough. I guess the cow community should be grateful she’s not wearing calfskin pants! Extra cows would have to die.
Nice clown shoes she has on.
When she goes to India, does she where cotton or burlap?
I just hope she covers up. So does India, I reckon.
As you said, his charm and graciousness is so, so real...he's the real thing.
Reminds me of what P.J. O’Rourke said about some career criminals: “They aren’t worried about going to jail. Jail is cleaning than their houses, and they can see all their friends there.”
At his wake, his cat sat on his chest, refusing to leave him even in death.
I always assumed he was parodying Errol Flynn.
Yes....O’Toole parodied Errol Flynn.
But the movie My Favorite Year is about his appearance on a parody of Sid Ceasar .... brilliantly played by Joe Bologna.....hilariously taking a hitch on his crotch.
So handsome.....has an out of wedlock son, Lorcan....lives in NJ.
That woman has the worst taste in clothes I’ve ever seen. Most of them look like they were made by Omar the tent maker. I remember when they moved into the White House the first time and she renovated the Oval Office....red and yellow....it was awful. Didn’t last long thank goodness.
Did Mel Brooks have a writing or producer credit?
Brooks did have a producer role but it was uncredited per IMDB.
He was producer, I think. And hey: I resent being accused of writing ‘the darling man/charming rogue’ purple prose! You own that, not me, lol.
