Turns out Nigel Farage did NOT make that initial concession speech.
I bet it was some currency traders long the pound, trying to make a quick buck with a false rumor on social media.
Is not the guardian is an extremely hard left site.
As of now LEAVE up 50,000!
Remain 48.9% / 5,819,095
Leave.. 51.1% / 6,076,476
Did I hear they closed the polls early due to rain? Rain? In the UK? Must be glow bull discombobulation. Hope the leavers win.
Interesting side story from the Daily Mail.
Looks like somebody just got Fostered.
A barbell falling on his neck!
Hmmm
“A former U.N. General Assembly president who was awaiting trial in a $1million bribery scandal died in a weightlifting accident when a barbell he was lifting from a bench dropped on his neck, an autopsy revealed. John Ashe (left with his wife, and right) was declared dead at his home on Wednesday afternoon by a paramedic who responded to his home in Dobbs Ferry, New York. He was 61. Dr. Kunjlata Ashar, Westchester County’s medical examiner, said the cause of death - traumatic asphyxia - was determined during an autopsy. In a statement, the police department said the death appears accidental, but provided little information otherwise.”
Dear Mr. Cameron....I write resumes for a fee.
@goodwinMJ
Sheffield is 51% Leave. It was predicted to go Remain on 52% #euref
“Britain’s membership of the EU hangs in the balance after the Leave campaign scored a series of shock early victories as the historic referendum results continue to roll in. Sunderland recorded a massive 61 per cent to 39 per cent win for Leave - 82,394 votes to 51,930 - stunning the Remain side which had been voicing confidence about its prospects for victory overall. There was also a surprise victory for Brexit in Swansea, where the Stronger In campaign had been expecting to romp home (pictured left, Leave supporters celebrate a win). However the Remain campaign was bolstered by results in Scotland, Oxford and London, with the south west borough of Wandsworth voting 77 per cent in favour of staying - adding hundreds of thousands to the tally (pictured right, Remain volunteers after a result comes in). The Pound - which soared in value earlier after Nigel Farage admitted he thought Brexit had lost - immediately nose-dived against US dollar again. Betting firms also slashed the odds on the UK quitting the bloc. Based on the current estimated turnout, the camps will need to secure 16.5million votes to win.”
They are slow rolling the count. That always makes me nervous
Watch on Sky News - running tab: http://news.sky.com/watch-live
The only time I’ve heard/seen death by barbell is in the movies.
Pray that this is true!
THEY CLOSED THE POLLS TO STOP PEOPLE FROM VOTING TO LEAVE, NOW THEY CAN PRINT THE VOTES NEEDED TO STAY
I'm not complaining, mind. It just seems out of line with the current results.
Britain at 54%
Wales at 54%
Overall at 51%
Scotland is highly in the remain.
@goodwinmj
Thurrock, which has been consistently cultivated by Ukip. Predicted Leave 63%. They took 72%. Strong anti-EU areas really turnout out #euref
Send him a tweet and ask him!
OUT IS PLUS 500,000 VOTES
