That was the best. Moved me to tears, and moved them to tears up there in the balcony.
Throw in banning everything by Jimmy Buffet and you’ve got a deal!
I agree...hands off of Van Halen!!
What? No. You’ve got to have a little Buffet once in a while! :)
Yes. I know it was a re-make. I think someone did it before/after Orbison, too!

too funny.
At 58 years old I’ve been playing instruments since age 12, spent middle and high school as a choir boy, studied jazz theory and performance through my late 20s and 30s - and now am mostly a mandolin player in an acoustic trio playing largely original Americana-ish music.
Easy? I’d say highly motivated :-)
Cool! I’m in an acoustic trio myself. I play guitar and banjo, hubby plays bass, and our friend plays mando and 12-string guitar. Started playing at 14 and am now 51. Hoping the arthritis that is creeping into my hands doesn’t make it too difficult in the future, but will keep on playing until I can’t!
guitar is my first and best, mandolin 2nd, doing some clawhammer banjo now - and the fiddle is waiting in the wings - my dogs have suggested i leave the fiddle to someone else.
