Members of the House Republican Conference are furious at Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R.-Wis.) after they were forced to sidelines for more than nine hours while House Democrats staged a college-style sit-in in the House chamber to demand restrictions on gun rights.
“Ryan was so weak, he just let them take over,” a Capitol Hill source told Breitbart News.

Ryan is way past his due date. He should be bounced out of leadership. We know he’s not going to let up on Trump....now would be a perfect time to emasculate him.

Their “demonstration” gives the media an excuse to ignore Trump’s speech - or limit coverage to what they describe as personal attacks and ignore Trump’s policy statements.

Ryan need to lose the primary, if not primay vote democrat to remove him from senate. I think its worth losing a seat just to lose him
This sit-in changes the subject from Trump’s triumphant showing today and from terror to guns.
Nothing advantageous about it.
Gun control is a losing issue for the rats...this does nothing for them where it counts: votes.
Even bad things have a silver lining
A life lesson is to be very, very cautious of people who rise to the top and seem so utterly beyond stupid that it doesn't seem possible.
Often, they're playing a game. Ryan's MO is that he pretends he doesn't want a job, then gets people to beg him to take it. He "reluctantly" agrees. Then he gets to do whatever he damn well pleases because it wasn't like he made promises to get that job or had to have his (or her) "principles" challenged.
