Russian hackers are believed to have breached the computers of the Clinton Foundation — and appear to be the same cyber spies who swiped confidential files from the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton campaigns, officials familiar with the investigation told NBC News.
Three private security firms have concluded the hackers are Russian, and some security experts say Russian intelligence could be behind the attacks and want to interfere in the U.S. presidential election.
So what could be the hackers' end game?
The Democratic National Committee said the operation was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. But some U.S. officials believe the goal is something more menacing: espionage.

How dumb would it be to have incriminating info on that server. More likely it was scrubbed squeaky clean and knowingly open up for a hack “see we are a clean non profit there is no there there”

The media’s protective strategy is clear: Anything revealed that is damaging to Hillary Clinton is conveniently ascribed to Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election. So we should disregard her scandals, lies, and corruption and blame the wicked Russians instead of Hillary, who incidentally has already allowed herself to be manipulated by numerous foreign doners.
I am suspicious that NBC has decided to report on this. I smell a rat.
Its easier for the DNC, Clinton campaign and their allies in the media to blame the Russians. Make them the bad guys because nobody knows anything about Romania; its not a familiar country to most people and therefore not useful to cast as the culprit.

Elections are not static. Every voter and every word spoken by anyone is supposed to influence elections. As a matter of fact, most elections start with an outcome and work their way backwards using influence to secure that outcome.
