Bill Gates funds the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the tune of over $50 billion. . . which funds worldwide abortions and put a lot of money into Core Education in the US. Microsoft was also giving more than lip service to LBGT, funding a lot of their legislative efforts ten years before Tim Cook said a word about the subject or even came out of his closet. Microsoft has given far more money to Liberal and Democrat political efforts than Apple ever has. . . yet Apple somehow has the reputation of being the Liberal company while Steve Jobs made this statement in 2004:
Steve Jobs on political involvement: "Some people have said that I shouldnt get involved politically because probably half our customers are Republicans maybe a little less, maybe more Dell than ours. But I do point out that there are more Democrats than Mac users so Im going to just stay away from all that political stuff because that was just a personal thing."
Steve kept Apple out of politics.
> Steve kept Apple out of politics.
It is a great disappointment to me, as a longtime user of Apple products (as well as everything else under the sun, of course), that Tim Cook has decided to take Steve Jobs' company into not just politics, but IDENTITY politics as well.
I'm not about to stop using Apple gear -- it's among the best in the world and I enjoy using it -- but I hope that this cr@p stops soon, perhaps with Tim Cook being given the bum's rush by the stockholders because of the loss of value in recent months.
But I'm not holding my breath.
Ewwww, thanks so much for that visual image.... :-)
Tim Cook ain't no Steve Jobs. Cook has no vision. China is eating Cook's lunch. Apple Stock is doing poorly under Cook. Cook needs to resign.
