Had someone try to bum a cigarette from me, I don't smoke, in the hospital emergency waiting room... my emotional response in my head was to tell the guy to F-off, get the hell out of here. But of course I was polite and said, "sorry, don't smoke". the guy found a smoke and went outside and consumed it. I find it a bit galling that a complete stranger thinks nothing of asking something of you then consuming it in your face. On the other hand, this group of thugs need to be caught and brought up on terrorism charges. the moral of this post is; buy your own d--- cigarettes!

Back when I was a smoker, bumming a cigarette from the great fraternity of smokers was common and fine. Everyone did it, and everyone knew a cigarette was only as far as the next smoker.
