Fairfax, Va.— The executive director of the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA), Chris W. Cox, today issued the following statement in response to political maneuvering in the United States Senate that prevented the passage of legislation to prohibit terrorists from obtaining firearms:
“Today, the American people witnessed an embarrassing display in the United States Senate. President Obama and his allies proved they are more interested in playing politics than addressing their failure to keep Americans safe from the threat of radical Islamic terrorism.
“We all agree that terrorists should not be allowed to purchase or possess firearms. We should all agree that law-abiding Americans who are wrongly put on a secret government list should not be denied their constitutional right to due process. These are not mutually exclusive ideas. It is shocking that the safety of the American people is taking a backseat to political theatre.
“We thank the majority of the senators for rejecting the gun control proposals of Senators Feinstein and Murphy. We applaud Senators Cornyn and Grassley for securing majorities for their common-sense proposals. We look forward to working with those interested in real solutions to keep the American people safe, including their right to defend themselves in the face of government failure."

The problem is not guns but (i)slam
When it comes to politics it is the old adage “It’s the economy stupid” And when it comes to terrorism “It’s (i)slam stupid) I grant you that good many (m)uslims are not terrorists and don’t even want to be associated with them, but just being a (m)uslim and believing in that ill conceived mumbo jumbo, some of it plagiarized from Judean believes more or less predisposes some believers, especially if they are mentally unstable.
This so called religion more often than not is just the final nudge to push them over the edge and encourages them to do things what many other religions would abhor or would reject altogether. Let’s face it, if we like it or not, violence is built in to (i)slam and if mankind wants to continue on its evolutionary path in a more peaceful manner sooner than later it may be worthwhile to consider rejecting anything what may lead to mayhem and bloodshed and (i)slam just happens to fall in to that category what has been proven over and over since its conception.
What are some fools doing in the western world, as if there aren’t enough problems, discontent and even mayhem already they invite more trouble with open arms. Yes I am all for providing help but try to fix the problem at the source. Otherwise it be the same as bringing someone with an infectious disease in to your home, if your luck happens to run out in the worst case scenario both of you may end up dead. It happened before and rest assured it will happen again. 9/11-San Bernardino-Orlando the next one may be right around the corner as I believe we haven’t seen anything yet, as we are just up to a good start. It is rather presumptuous to bring humans to this country who been fighting for centuries, and expect them to turn in to bright, peace loving humans. Fat chance.
Most of them don’t even care to either be assimilated or integrated and continue with the same crap they just escaped or ran away from. Just the opposite from the earlier legal immigrants who immersed themselves in the official language of this country and put their shoulders against the proverbial wheel and made this country in to what it is today, unfortunately being torn apart now by inept and ignorant politicians

The whole episode was a distraction from the failure of Obama to protect American citizens. Next, they will talk about how they were hindered from keeping guns out of the hands of terrorists. Count on it ; another distraction.

The Dems wanted the bills to fail. Now they can use this in the election. “Ma fello murcans my ponnent voted DOWN a commonsense reasonable law that would keep chirren safe! And it only violated the 4th, 5th and 14’th mendment, and juss a little of the second”
Good. Maybe Congress can move on to real solutions instead of flirting with violating the rights of their constituents. Stop potential foreign enemies, specifically, from entering our country. Uphold the right of Americans to defend themselves. Finish the War on Terror overseas instead of limiting us to only trying to stop each individual attempt at terrorism here. Ignore or prevent propaganda from foreign enemies, and avoid allowing such propaganda to affect policy decisions. Destroy the foreign enemy’s will to fight.

The GOP has no cohesive strategy on anything. If they cannot even MOCK the marxists who are attacking the 2nd and 4th Amendments, the party deserves to go the way of the wigs.

I wish Chris Cox would have used this opportunity to outline why each of the Democrats’ bills were out of step with the Constitution. The American people need a reeducation campaign to protect their 2nd Amendment rights.
