Trump Kids Ousted Corey Lewandowski, Leaving Paul Manafort in Charge of Campaign
NY Rag ^ | Gabriel Sherman

Posted on 06/20/2016 9:17:34 AM PDT by proust

Lewandowski's ouster was the result of a coup led by Trump's children Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr., according to the staffer. And his abrupt dismissal culminates one of the most dramatic story lines of the 2016 campaign.

“Presidential candidates should never let their children assist with their campaign.”

Agreed. They need to keep Barron Trump away from running things.

I actually heard Roger Stone say Cory would be out soon 6 weeks ago.

If The Donald wins the election, this will be a great little story, like some of GWB’s. If not, nobody will care.

I know Trump is running an unconventional campaign, but his organization so far sucks! He has 30 paid staff members across the country. Hillary has 700 paid staff members. Trump has spent zero dollars in ads. Hillary has spent $23 million trying to define Trump in key swing states. Defining your opponent is very effective. “I voted for it before I voted against it” stuck to John Kerry for the entire election in 2004. You can ask Romney about this as well in 2012. Is it any wonder the RNC is asking delegates to reconsider convention floor votes for Trump?? Trump had to shake up the campaign just to quell the rightfully understood restlessness within the GOP.

The campaign manager doesn’t get involved in policy issues. They usually leave after the election. Manafort and Stone are hired guns. They do what they are paid to do.

Ok. Confession. I was on the road in the past hour and Beck was on radio and I didn’t channel flip.

Beck reported this but you know what his objection was? He said Trump needs real counsel, not family. He needs to get the kids out of there. And then blamed Trump for not being “loyal” to Corey.

Made me think, who better can judge which individuals around Trump are of the most benefit to the campaign and which are possibly holding him back. In the end, family is who we should all turn to when we want honest answers.

Shortly after, he was escorted out by security.

I wonder what he did to deserve that?

Well guess what EV, that platform was going nowhere with the American Voter,America is much more liberal today than 20 years ago. everyone here has seen where Ted Cruz’s platform went. People change and America has changed and if you want to have a say so as to where it goes then politics have got to change.

I think it mostly has to do with the complete lack of response to the massive amount of media attacks last week. It’s become routine for any campaign to have a “rapid response” team to respond to that type of stuff.

Lewandowski was specifically hired to secure the delegates and nomination, wasn't he? I'd say he did a bang-up job.

Simply put, another skill set my be needed to win the election.

No that is what the other side, your buddies the Globalist, have been doing.

You got everything inverted and turned on its head.

Maybe this is written to start a family feud? That’s what my gut tells me.

It’s become a fairly common thing, to have security present to escort a terminated employee out of the building. I wouldn’t read too much into that.

Bull, bull, bull.
Lewandowski no longer fit the needs of the position. He’s a doer, not an administrator.

He’ll fit the role of unofficial advisor perfectly.

Word on the street is that Lewanddowski was working for the other side. He was an Operative in other words.

Very unlikely. Trump has people sign non disclosure agreements as part of their employment.
