Earlier this morning, The Donald Trump campaign called for an emergency meeting in order to discuss the future. A few things happened: Corey Lewandowski was fired from the campaign, and another man was brought on.

I’m actually not interested in the behavior of either Trump or Cruz. Neither of those men have a personal effect on me beyond their participation in the election.

My interest is in the behavior of the people who populate this website and the absolute insane level of vitriol and poison that is spewed at any who do not act in accordance with the politically correct sentiments that nothing that Trump does or says can be questioned.

Those who are the most vicious attack even other Trump supporters if they dare step out of line.

What’s ironic, is you may soon feel the sting of their attacks as you have recognized that Trump often doesn’t mean what he says. How soon before one the rabid ones turn on you when you point that out?

Sorry, you are not recalling correctly. There was very little vitriol here against Cruz until he earned it. Direct your anger at your candidate who needlessly poisoned the well the day he “suspended” the campaign, threatened to restart his campaign, refuses to honor his pledge to endorse the nom, etc., etc.

Bottom line is: Who do you want in the White House? Trump or Clinton? The only thing that matters now is beating the Butcher of Benghazi and keeping her out of the WH. Fragging the one person who can stop her and depressing the conservative vote for him does not do that. I will not apologize for enaging those who enable Hillary Clinton. As we saw in Orlando, too much is at stake.

Note that the Dems do not current have a fire squad aimed at Hillary. Hillary Rotten Criminal is under criminal investigation. Are leading elected Democrats trashing her. No. Why? Because they want the WH. Understand?

Doesn’t mean what he says? You mean like when a career politician dishonestly campaigned for TPA and claimed to be against TPP while knowing full well that ZERO fast tracked trade deals have ever been voted down? Glass houses, etc., come to mind right now.

Does he have a connection to Virginia politics? His name is unfamiliar yet I see this thread is posted in the Virginia forum.

Now here is an example of what I have been talking about, lodi90. You are responding as if I am attacking either you or Trump. And yet... let's take a look at what you said on a recent thread:

"Trump is campaigning for POTUS. What he “supports” with campaign trail hot air is worth the paper it’s written on."

"It’s all campaign hot air. Trump is simply trying to triangulate the issue and get it off the table."

I'm just quoting you.

Concern troll much? I see exactly what you and other sore loser Cruzers are doing.

Unfortunately, “principled conservative” Senator Ted Cruz dishonestly campaigning for Obama’s TPA and enabling the secret “trade” agenda of the most lawless POTUS in history is not “campaign hot air”.

Again, how am I attacking you or Trump in any fashion? Did you not make those posts?

You are trolling. You are clear that you don’t have a problem with people on FR harming Trump’s campaign for the WH by attacking him from the right. You concern troll act is transparent.

Lewandowski’s mistreatment of staff underlings has been common knowledge for years. What cost him his job, as I understand it, is that he had no ideas and no suggestions on how to take Trump’s campaign to the next level. So he had to go.

I agreed with your comments and now I am trolling?

Do YOU agree with your own comments?

Proust, and to others who are reading this, this behavior is an example of what I have been saying.

I have said nothing, not a single thing, about Trump. I have not twisted or put words into anyone’s mouth.

I simply quoted lodi90 and he has called me a troll and accused me of harming Trump’s campaign.

This behavior is driving away people from Freerepublic, even those who (like both me and lodi90) are going to vote for Trump in November.

I haven’t brought up Cruz, until now, I haven’t criticized Trump at all, and I told lodi90 that I agreed with some of his recent posts.

But the nature of political correctness is to strain to find a problem in everyone’s political purity. Since I did not support Trump in the primary season, I am not pure enough to support Trump now. Since I did not support Trump in the primary season, all of my posts are suspect and pre-judged.

How is this broadening Trump’s support? How is this helping in any way?

Spare us your crocodile tears.

I’m sure the tone will improve around here once Ted Cruz does his patriotic duty and endorses the only person who can keep Hillary Rotten Criminal out of the White House. Until then your concern trolling is out of order.
