Serious question: Why is Trump spending so much time in TX and AZ, two states he has locked up? Is this a “last swing through safe states” before hitting the battlegrounds?
Probably raising money, and with people who like him. Friendly bit crowds. I’m wondering if he met with Rick Perry as I think he’s a VP candidate.

Trump is taking nothing for granted, is how it looks to me. With over 200+ rallies so far, and 5 months to go, my guess is he will cover all swing states as well.
well probably never know the whole story but my guess is that he feels important he can show #nevertrump folk and the Cruz, Jeb, “other” bush folk that he has a lot of strength in Texas. Fundraisers no doubt a big thing. His nickle and his call.

He was having RNC scheduled fundraising events in TX, and the rallies were add-on events. I also heard that he’s attending a big fundraiser prior to the Las Vegas rally. I don’t know if there is a fundraiser scheduled in AZ.

Trump may know Texas and Arizona will be beneficial in fund raising? I believe he will be able to garner more support from the states he takes the to visit and show he cares about “everyone”..
I think he is doing fund raising and a rally while he is there. Smart move on his part by killing two birds with one stone so to speak.
As for Phoenix, don’t forget that Joe Arpaio is the Sheriff. I think his department along with the Phoenix PD will crack some heads.
