Several major companies that sponsored the 2012 Republican National Convention will not be sponsoring the event this year in Cleveland, where Donald Trump is expected to be officially nominated as the partys presidential nominee.
Wells Fargo, UPS, Motorola, JPMorgan Chase, Ford and Walgreens all told Bloomberg they wont sponsor this years convention, despite helping to fund the last GOP summit in 2012. None of the companies commented on whether their decision to pull out was because of the GOPs divisive presumptive nominee.
Trump routinely lashes out at Ford in his stump speech, blasting the company for moving a factory from the U.S. to Mexico. The car company said it would not support either partys convention

I heard a talking head on TV today say that this is old news. The companies pulled out some time ago...and it's for reasons other than Trump.
I'm just posting what I heard, and if someone can verify the dates and from-the-horse's mouths' the reasons for pulling sponsorship, please post.

They aren’t going to spend their money because they are not going to be able to buy access with Trump. We should have a comprehensive list of them and our task should be to not do business with them.
And CVS is at least partly owned by Soros. Pick your poison or find another source. Our family moved their very few prescriptions to Kroger and buy a few over-the-counter drugs we use there, as well as all our groceries. Get points we use for gas discounts and they have no objection to people carrying.
