At least 30 delegates are mounting a longshot attempt to deny Donald Trump the GOP presidential nomination on the convention floor, The Washington Post reported Friday.
The delegates hope to change party rules next month to take away delegates who are pledged to the presumptive nominee but who may not actually support him. The attempt comes on the heels of a tough stretch for Trump, who has seen his favorability plummet and any lead over Democrat Hillary Clinton evaporate over his attacks on a Hispanic federal judge, comments this week about banning Muslims and other controversies.

Story is garbage in that it makes no sense. Is the GOPe happy that Trump is the nominee? No. They will work to sabotage him and run another of their hand picks in 2020. But is the GOPe dumb enough to, in effect, blow up the party by picking someone against the will of the voters? I doubt it.

Next outlet picks it up and reports on story and how story is spreading because others picked up said story and reported that it was a story.

But that doesn’t fit today’s Wash Post’s narrative.
The operatives of the #Never Trump strategy are appearing on Fox News to spread their misinformation about Trump.
These operatives have no idea of the threat America has with the flow of the Muslim Trojan Horse incoming into our cities. All they are concerned about is their back pockets. I am sure some of that money is coming from Muslim countries who are pushing for all mankind to be submitted to Allah as a method for a few to control the masses with totalitarianism. In other words, rather than use oil revenue to produce a Capitalist success story, they are going for power and control. It is demonic and our political leaders are being turned into traitors and prostitutes.
If that were true, they should cede their place for someone that supports Trump. More likely, these are stealth Cruz delegates, who should be replaced for their deceit. Lyn' Ted needs to put a stop to this!

No, these are Cruz delegates *posing* as TRUMP delegates.
Trump’s “earned” delegate positions were filled by Cruz supporters because they easily out numbered Trump supporters in some, and maybe most, congressional districts by 77 to 3 all over the country.
When Trump become President I hope he sends the justice department to knock on their door. They will deserve what they get.
These delegates (and Cruz) think that this plan will somehow set up Cruz to win an election in 2020. Little do they realize that should Hillary win there will be no election in 2020

I think most delegates will toe the line, but legally they can do whatever they want, and have on rare circumstance in the past.
