Robbie Abell, owner of a Florida gun shop, says he alerted authorities that a suspicious man had come in asking about body armor. Five weeks later, Omar Mateen – equipped with weapons he bought at a different shop after Abell’s employees refused to sell to him – killed 49 people and injured as many at Pulse night club in Orlando.
UPDATE: Abell has since confirmed the agency he contact was the FBI.
The Wall Street Journal quotes Abell as telling them that his store, Lotus Gunworks of South Florida, “shut him down on all sales” after he began asking bizarre questions about body armor and bulk ammunition. “The questions he was asking were not the normal questions a normal person would be asking… He just seemed very odd,” Abell said. The armor Mateen asked about is not traditionally available to civilians.

Just a thought.... if this had been in New York City area and the gun shop owner had called the NYPD, would the results have been different?

Obama can not and will never admit there are islamic terrorists. To do so requires an admission that Islam is not monolithic and includes a radical element committed to jihad, a holy war, against the world. To determine the radicals, to separate the sheep from the goats, requires discrimination. Discrimination is the process of discriminating based on facts in evidence. That process is to develop a profile. Profiling has been declared to be the most heinous process known to America
If islam is not monolithic, a homogeneous group of people, perhaps there are actually other such groups of Americans. The most notable of such protected groups have labeled themselves “the Black Community” is in fact lots of subgroups that cannot be examined separately because that is discrimination
In summary, protection of the Black Community at all costs has rendered the administration and the left unable to cope with the radical Islamic terrorists.
so “If you see something, say something” works really well..... the FBI had this guy tagged 3-4 times and botched the case.
They did not botch the case, they were following orders from 0bama via his Lynch lackey.
