America is absolutely awash with easily obtainable firearms, one spokesman for Al Qaeda said in a 2011 recruitment video. So what are you waiting for?
Few places on earth make it easier than the United States for a terrorist to buy assault weapons to mow down scores of people in a matter of minutes. The horrific massacre in Orlando last weekend is only the latest example. And all this is made vastly easier by a gun lobby that has blocked sensible safety measures at every turn, and by members of Congress who seem to pledge greater allegiance to the firearms industry than to their own constituencies. There is a word for their role in this form of terrorism: complicity.

I'm surprised that it took the NYSlimes so long to get this out.

And all this is made vastly easier by a gun lobby that has blocked sensible safety measures at every turn I don't believe I have EVER seen the US Congress seriously consider ANY sensible legislation regarding firearms.

America’s always been awash in firearms. What has changed since the 80’s?

I'm surprised that it took the NYSlimes so long to get this out. Because the geniuses, ("the best and brightest"), at the NY Slimes couldn't figure out how to spell "N" "R" "A".

When the NYT says that Obama is responsible for terrorism because in his name the FBI allowed firearms to be sold to the Orlando murderer and that in Big Zero's name that Bast and Furious delivered firearms to drug cartels, then they will have some believability and rational for their current B.S.

Anything to deflect the blame from Obama. All of the media acolytes are chirping in unison like good little lemmings.

Humans have been killing each other for eons, long before the dawn of the gun. https://www.scribd.com/doc/8177409/101-Ways-to-Kill-People
Cain probably used a BIG rock to kill Abel. Nothing new.

Americans need guns to protect themselves from the hateful scum at the New York Times.
They hate Christians and want them all dead. Make no mistake, the New York Times is filled to the rafters with evil elitist snobs who want to kill Christians.

I see radical Islam is being excused again by the left. I will say this the left is great at pivoting and changing the narrative in a hurry. Of course it helps having fellow travelers in the “opposition” and a compliant media doing your bidding. I think the Democrats are afraid because of Hillary’s long money trail to Arab countries, and their party being perceived as too sympathetic to radical Islam.

I have said it in the past, and will say it again now: there is a very definite reason why the terrorists of 9/11/01 did NOT crash one of those hijacked airliners into the New York Times building, after all - WHY would they attack one of their ALLIES?

I guess the Slimes at the Slimes blames the NRA and Boeing for 09-11-2001. Dumbasses are a dime a dozen in this country these days. Most of them work in the DNC's "national media".
Just say NO to drugs.

I guess the NRA must have had a presence in both France and Belgium, concerning the recent violence there as per the NYT’s logic.

Too bad somebody at that gay night club didn’t have one to defend themselves. Or the ‘security’ guards.
