Temp today in DFW was hovering around 100 degrees, with the humidity, it felt closer to 110. Kept the amateurs and little snowflakes at home.

For the past several years (like 20ish?) a local charity has an ice cream contest; the winner has their recipe made by Purity Dairies the following year. Not sure if this recipe is one of the past winners, but the person who created the recipe has won the contest several times.
Key Lime Pie Ice Cream
2 cups half and half
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup freshly squeezed key lime juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons finely grated lime rind
3 sheets graham crackers, crumbled (bigger chunks stay crunchy )
Whisk together half and half, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice and salt. Pour into the canister of an ice cream maker and freeze per instructions. Mix in lime rind and graham crackers. Makes 3 1/2 cups.
The videos of the protesters shows signs that their operation is well organized. Many wrapped in American flags. They are giving choreographed chants of “We are Americans!” and other chants in Hispanic. This was not seen in the earlier demonstrations. They are holding mass produced signs saying, “America Sin Trump,” with a huge 10 x 4 banner of the same; which indicates an organization paid money to print them up. The mostly Hispanic protesters are walking down the street down one side and circling around to walk down the other side.
