Donald Trump is viewed unfavorably by 7 in 10 Americans in a new national poll. Seventy percent of U.S. adults have an unfavorable view of the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, according to the ABC News/Washington Post poll released Wednesday, a 10-point increase since last month.
That's his highest unfavorable rating since the launch of his presidential campaign and is close to Trump's highest-ever unfavorable rating in the poll, 71 percent, from May 2015. Since then it's hovered closer to 60 percent and had fallen toward the end of the GOP primary season.
Hillary Clinton is also viewed unfavorably by a majority of Americans, 55 percent, a new high in the poll for her. Forty-three percent view her favorably.
Those numbers come shortly after Clinton won enough delegates to become the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. Still, national polls asking voters whom they plan to support in November have shown Clinton pulling ahead.
Clinton has higher favorability among members of her party than Trump does among his in the ABC poll: 75 percent of Democrats view Clinton favorably, and 65 percent of Republicans view Trump favorably.
Independents, which both candidates are seeking to win over, are tepid on both: 68 percent hold unfavorable views of Trump, and 63 percent hold unfavorable views of Clinton.

It wiil soon be too late for Trump to repeat over and over the truth about La Raza and its roots, the San Diego La Raza lawyer’s group and any activism in those organizations by Judge Curiel. I know that he has lost many people who have Mexican friends and relatives who were leaning toward him or even who supported him, but who arenow big time pixxed at him. It is to a great extent because they view La Raza as benign Mexican pride groups.
Its all over.
The Washington Post said so! Trump can’t win.
You have it from an unimpeachable authority.
A Reuters poll says just the opposite. This is a push poll.
If its over, go home.
Relax and learn to love President Clinton.
The unforced error was in attacking the judge, period.
I haven't seen a Republican candidate in such trouble since the MSM told me Mondale was going to "simply destroy Reagan" in '84.
No it isn’t. From the Corporate world to the Construction site it is conservative.
Your folks on assistance are maybe 80/20 gibsmedats.
The rest want to make a living based on their ability.
I speak for 2 states I am very familiar with. TN/NC
Well here is a silver lining in the internals:
“METHODOLOGY This ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by landline and cell phone from June 8-12, 2016, among a random national sample of 1,000 adults.”
All this was done before the Islamic Terror Attack.
ABC was the most accurate poll in the 2012 election.
We should not be in the business of looking down on the American people. Leave that to the left. Its our business to inspire and ignore the whines and agiprop.
Oklahoma.
It’s all psywar. We’ll never see the propagandists polling Trump supporters on their GOP favorable/unfavorable. I’ve never been more disgusted with the GOP and that is saying something.
I’d be interested seeing the partisan bias.
It would surprise me if it heavily D+ weighed.
He is going to win with the American People, just like he did with the GOP voters.
The Washington Post is in the tank for Hillary.
You know she’s gonna win, what’s Trump gonna do about it?
At this point in time in 1980 and 1988, Carter and Dukakis were a lock for the White House.
Well, judging by all the whining and knashing of teeth, I’d say the WASHINGTON POST poll is doing exactly what its’ pushers set out to do....
Apparently GOP elites aren’t the only ones who lost their stones.
Go home to where? If you are truly a Conservative from Southern California you should be saying what I am.
Your words and silence cause me to doubt you.
This is a push-poll. And as such, it is meaningless except for propaganda purposes.
The factors for which The Donald are supposed to indicate “unfavorability” (he is brash, often lashing out at rivals with seemingly overwhelming vehement forcefulness, jumping off to seemingly unlikely conclusions on what appears to be flimsy evidence, and appearing to destroy his own argument over and over), but in the end, he rarely has to walk back anything, and other findings almost always prove him to have been correct in his assessment all the time.
And he is indefatigable, a trait which seems to wear out his rivals at an appalling rate, and for this they hate, loathe, and despise him.
The pundits are reading The Donald all wrong. But they only learn that the next day.
No, he had every right to attack a corrupt judge!
They forgot to ask: “Who would you vote for?” Lots of noise. Wait until next week.
