After the movie `Dirty Harry' came out in theaters, a lot of guys bought this gem:
In the years that followed, a lot of guys put their Model 29 .44 magnums up for sale, and with almost a full box of shells.

That’s not a gun I can spend an entire afternoon shooting.
Even my ‘75 Colt Trooper .357mag 6” MK III requires some serious rest about midway thru a box of 50.

I started with a 4" 629. Moved up to a 10.5" 500Mag. Also a 10.5" 460 Mag and 7" Ruger 454 Casull. My only caution is that the revolvers with a comp on the muzzle should never fire plated bullets. Use only solid lead or heavy copper jackets. The light plating spins off and spews out the comp. You and those nearby get a shower of copper bits.

Back in the day I used to work with a guy that had a .44. He had some guy making hot reloads for him.
