Yes, they did, it was their wonderful idea! Freepers hopped on board : )
I know the Trump Team loves and appreciates all D & S do, and another Freeper (Advertising Guy?) also tells us the Trump Team know and love us Freepers, too!
Wouldn’t it be terrific if DJT read his Birthday thread? : )
The time to arrive depends on a number of factors such as where do you want to sit or stand in the venue? Do you want to try and get on the crowd line in front?
My rule of thumb is to get in line 3 hours before the doors open. Often times, people show up 12 hours or more before the doors open, so there will almost always be a line formed upon arrival.
Typically, arriving 3 hours before the doors open will put you in the front “portion” of the line, giving you the best chance to find a seat, or a spot on the floor with the crowd up front, no more than 10 rows deep.
Every venue is a little different... sometimes there are no chairs, therefore no seating, like in an aircraft hanger, a convention hall, or in my experience- a park.
Sometimes food is available inside if it’s part of normal venue use operations. If not, the USSS or DHS will limit what can be brought in, regarding food and water. In my attendance, 1 bottle of water was permitted minus the cap, and no snacks, with an exception for medical needs such as a diabetic needing something with sugar content, in the event of a reaction.
I would eat before going, and bring plenty of water to drink while waiting in line, especially if it’s hot, and the line is in the sun’s reach. Some snacks to eat, before reaching the security teams, is advisable, depending on wants and needs.
Limit diuretics beforehand, like coffee, tea, or caffeinated soft drinks, so as to avoid latrine visits.
Wear comfortable shoes.
Think about the traffic flow after the event, and try to park strategically, even if it means a bit of a walk, to gain an advantage over your peers when leaving.
I cannot advise on the protestor aspect, as that is unpredictable, especially for an outsider to be chiming in from the other side of the country, other than travel in groups, and prepare to stand your ground in self defense.
If the local PD has published info. on the venue such as closed streets, entryways, protestor areas, etc., study the grid for any advantage that can be gleaned, which might help in pinpointing the ideal location to park, mitigating contact with the protestors.
Last thing- ALL ABOARD! Woot! Woot! Woooooot!
Was that the policeman that got killed?
Remember- the level of revenge inflicted upon our children, is relative to the amount of spoiling that is leveled upon the grandchildren. [ insert evil laugh here >>> <<< ]
I loved his speech! I thought he did great with the delivery too. Seamlessly speaking can be boring when it is given in a monotone (like Obama does). Trump had lots of emotion - anger at the terrorists and their allies on the left, compassion for the victims, and optimism for the future.
I love that he said we couldn’t afford to take care of so many refugees, since we are $19T in debt. No other politician even mentions that little trivial fact.
Laura Ingraham had Ralph Reed on her show and they talked about Trump’s speech at the Faith and Freedom Gathering. Ralph said there were times in Donald’s speech that he add lived as in the time ...”I know a lot of people with money believe me and money a lone doesn’t make you happy because sadly several aren’t happy.” Ralph said he knew that was from the heart because it wasn’t on the teleprompter. He told her he looked up and read the speech as he walked out. Ralph told Laura Trump feels very much through his heart and he speaks from it.
I did the exact same thing. Everybody let Trump know we have his back.
now that’s an interesting breakfast!
I’m having pretzels and A&W10 for lunch. I gardened all morning and am too tired to make anything. putting the ice in the rootbeer drained me.

Not one cent will go to the Trump campaign. The Republican party is more threat to us than the democrats!
I was mistakenly for Cruz first. Then Cruz was deafeningly silent on illegal immigration while Trump talked walls and deportation. Even better, when the press and his own party attacked him, he didn’t waver.
I was hooked.
My dad served in the Army Air Corp in the South Pacific.
Was a JAG officer and head of a supply depot for the air troops!
Send money directly to Donaldjtrump.com It all goes to his campaign. Diamond and Silk organized it!
Sounds like a great retirement - just doing whatever you like when you like!
I’ll be starting a business soon so am enjoying the down time now waiting for my room to be built in the basement. Although I don’t know if ‘enjoying’ is the right term for spending 5 hours gardening on the hottest day we’ve had so far!
Get well quickly, navymom!
Sending healing prayers.
Since April I “got” strep three times. Personally, I think it just never left. I took two rounds of those horrible antibiotics (2 different ones), which did a number on the rest of my body that I have still not recovered from. And yet they did not knock out the steep infection, only sent it hiding for a week after the deadly antibiotics were finished, then they returned strong, tanned, and ready.
So I switched to natural antibiotics which I’ve been taking for almost two weeks, and slowly I am getting better. Your granddaughter won’t want to trey it, but should you test + for strep, it’s the raw garlic / raw honey / cayenne mixture and I take it as often as I think about it all day long. Maybe when I am home every hour or so. I feel a lot better when I’m taking it. If I am on an outing away from home and don’t take it for 4 hours, I feel draggy and my throat starts to feel thick. Haven’t had actual throat pain for a week.
Wow, just now got an email alert to join the Donald in Las Vegas this weekend! Wish I could!
Political correctness kills.
Wouldnt it be terrific if DJT read his Birthday thread? : )
You should not post after too many adult beverages. Oh but that explains it.
I don’t even drink! But I was exhausted and I just had to be towed with a flat tire because the last place didn’t return my spare. Somehow last night I thought he’d find it funny. Why?? I love the Donald! Lol.
