We know it wasn’t the center fuel tank. And we know that at the time of explosion TWA800 was higher than the effective altitude of MANPADS missiles. So then where did the missile come from? Are we back to a U.S. Navy accident and subsequent Clinton Administration cover-up?

Logically it was from a USN asset - most likely a sub. And given that, it's hard to imagine a sub making such a mistake. So if it was deliberate, then did the Clintons order the 747 shot down? Who was on the plane?

I’m sure this has been asked and answered. But did the government have information that the plane was hijacked and ready to go jihad?

***Who was on the plane?***

Well, I have nothing to verify this information with, but a friend of ours claims to be ex-CIA. When 800 was blown up, he told us that there was a person related to the 1993 WTC bombing on that airplane. He said that’s what he heard through his grapevine. He was pretty shaken up about it, and told us in strictest confidentiality. Mind you, I have no idea if any of it is true, but it has always made me wonder.

And how would that work exactly?

Does anybody remember the Iranian airliner that our military shot down a few years before TWA800? Our excuse was simply a case of mistaken identity. Too bad so many Iranian citizens died and we’re REAL sorry! Has anybody considered the possibility that Iran got even?

I was in the navy on subs at the time. We don't have anti-aircraft missiles on submarines, so I don't see the logic there. Unless you suspect the sub somehow accidentally shot a Tomahawk through the 747.

or a bona fide SAM, rigged on a boat. Fire the missile and scuttle the boat. I recall reading about a “large” pleasure boat that went missing that day.

If it were from a USN ship or sub, would it not have leaked out by now? The entire crew would've been aware of the event. Somebody would've talked...

Yet, I don't recall a single report of such a leak.
