To all our military men and women, past and present,
Gosh, it doesn't seem like 9 years since we lost our Tonk. Time is slipping away from us.
He was the first FReeper I communicated with and he invited me to the Canteen. I was timid about it so he and Kathy tag-teamed and coaxed me in. LOL!

Thank you for this thread.
I often think of Tonk. I miss him. Because I love the Oregon coast and visit it often, I had hoped to meet him in person someday...it never worked out.
RIP, Tonk....you are remembered.

Good to hear! Summer colds are such a drag.
Things are ok here. Not doing much outside during the day since it’s so hot right now and that makes things a bit boring. But there’s plenty to do in the house to stay occupied ...... like ride herd on all the cats. LOL
