If Lt. Governor Patrick normally tweets a Biblical verse at that time on Sunday mornings then there is no reason to believe it was an unfortunate choice selected long before the Florida shooting.

Patrick should have stuck to his guns but he folded like he always does. And the GD republicans calls for an apology. I hate the gop as much as I hate democrats and muslims. Seeing that it was an image, more likely than not it wasn't just a Bible passage chosen this morning. Democrats would say it should never be posted, particularly by a Lieutenant Governor. The outcry over it is in large part an attempt to score points against Christianity, and deflect attention from Islam.
